Special Gulf Coast Relief Promotion

We are excited to announce that a 5% donation will be made to the Gulf Coast relief effort when you make a purchase of special Gulf Coast items.

To start off the donation, we added two beautiful bar accessories to the list. The first one is a New Orleans theme wine bottle stopper. If you purchase this item, then 5% of the purchase price will be donated to the Gulf Coast relief efforts. You could add the New Orleans Mardi Gras Martini glass as well.

Team items that will count towards a 5% donation include any gifts representing the following teams:
We are also including beautiful hand embroidered throw pillows that represent Florida, Louisiana, the Florida Keys, Miami, Alabama, and Mississippi

Each pillow is painstakingly hand embroidered on a light tea colored 100% cotton fabric that buttons off for cleaning. Accented with velvet piping.

Additionally, we offer free ground shipping on these pillows.

We hope that you will find something you love that also helps clean up the oily mess in the Gulf Coast.

Summer Time Gifts

There are so many summer time events going on that it can be hard to think of new and original ideas for hostess gifts, birthday parties, or thank you presents. We thought it would be a good idea to compile a short list to help you choose something for your summer time gifts.
  • Going to an outdoor barbecue? Steak branding irons might be a good choice. You could create a custom monogram steak branding iron or buy one that represents your griller's interests, like baseball, NASCAR, or even peace
  • If it is a family outing you are attending, then an outdoor game might be more appropriate. Something the entire hosting family can use either the day of the event or long after is especially nice. You could choose a Melissa and Doug Happy Giddy Croquet Set if you are visiting a younger family. Or, if the family is a little older or rowdier, they might appreciate a washer toss game representing their favorite NFL team.
  • Cold drinks are always a must for outdoor summer parties. And who wouldn't want to drink their summer time iced beverage from a shatterproof Tervis Tumbler? Not only do they keep your drink cold, but they are fashionable, and safe to use around the pool.
TopNotchGifts.com has many other summer time gift options. Which one would you give?

2010 Holidays

The year is almost half over but some of the best gift giving holidays are yet to come. Just in case you need a refresher, here is a list of the major gift-giving holidays left in 2010.

July 25 - Parent's Day
September 9 - Jewish New Year
September 12 - Grandparent's Day
October 31 - Halloween
December 2 - Hanukkah
December 25 - Christmas
December 26 - Boxing Day

Once you have written these dates down in your shopping calendar, make sure to add the birthdays and anniversaries of all the important people in your life. Remembering these special dates is more important than the traditional holidays because they are a chance to celebrate the personal milestones in the lives of those we love.

Of course, there are lots of other, lesser known holidays between now and December 31. And just because they are not traditional gift giving holidays, doesn't mean you might not want to surprise someone with a special gift. Here is a link to a complete list of the 2010 Holidays.
